The LAZR Story

LAZR was born in San Bernardino, California. He grew up with five brothers and sisters, and after his mother fell into addiction during the height of the 80s crack epidemic, LAZR and his siblings were reunited with their mother after her recovery, and the family promptly relocated to Las Vegas, NV.

The expressive young artist instantly began turning heads when he began recording at the age of 16 and shortly after caught the attention of many Artists & Executives in the industry.

At the age of 18, LAZR began working with several of the top names in hip hop music as a highly-sought after ghostwriter. He worked on music with artists like Tyga and Future, and his writing style captured strong influences from headliners Kanye West, Jay Z, and Drake. As word of his extraordinary talent got around, he was invited to open up several arena stages on Chris Brown and Tyga’s 2011 F.A.M.E. World Tour.

The blossoming rhythmic pop phenom decided to form his own independent label Super Nova in a joint venture with WSOP (World Series Of Poker) champion Phil Ivey. LAZR’s first single, “Work for Me,” was released worldwide in October of 2019. In the song, LAZR talks about the trials and tribulations of money versus love. LAZR has since wrote hits for mega-stars such as Chris Brown, Bia, YG & Tone Stith. In 2020, LAZR released his album, BLAWSOME.
